Greg McInnis, Sales Representative
Greg graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in sales & marketing management. He climbed the corporate ladder in Toronto for 15 years working in management positions at several large, well respected, companies including Alliance Atlantis & Corus Entertainment. Fueled by a desire for change in his personal & career life & seeing a gap in the local real estate market, Greg, who has owned property in the area for the past decade, made Haliburton his permanent residence and along with Rob Serediuk, brought the Chestnut Park brand to the area. Through hard work & a commitment to superior customer service, Chestnut Park quickly became the #1 team in the Haliburton waterfront market and we have been #1 ever since. Greg has also increased his profile and promoted the Haliburton Area by being a host on W Network’s popular Real Estate show “Buying the View”
Shirley Rule, Broker
Shirley is one of the most dominate players in the Haliburton market setting sales records with her team all over the area. With over 11 years of experience focussing on waterfront properties,
Shirley has been a cottager in this area since the mid-1960’s and moved here permanently in 2003. She met her husband Ted while staying at Kennisis Lake. They bought their first cottage on Little Redstone in 1969 and built their retirement home in the late 90’s.
Shirley became a Real Estate Salesperson in 2005 and a Broker in 2012 and her profession works well with Ted’s “retirement” professions – professional engineering consultant and running a cottage rental business.
As a military wife and moving frequently, Shirley has always had a keen interest in the housing market, so it was a natural progression to enter the Real Estate profession after careers in teaching, banking and working for Passport Canada in the Ontario Region Directorate.
Their marriage of almost 45 years has blessed them with 4 wonderful children and 6 awesome grandchildren. The entire family has adopted the Haliburton Highlands as their home away from home!
